FishVitals ("we", "our", "the app") is built privacy-first. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

1. Data we collect

We do not collect your data. FishVitals stores everything locally on your device. We do not operate servers and never receive your personal information. The following is stored exclusively on your iPhone:

• Tanks and their settings (name, type, volume)
• Water test readings (pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, GH, KH, temperature, timestamps)
• Care logs and reminders
• App preferences (units, notifications)

This data never leaves your device. If you delete the app, the data is removed with it.

2. No tracking, no analytics, no ads

FishVitals contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. We do not use cookies or identifiers. The app works fully offline.

3. Purchases

Optional Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never see your payment details. Purchase handling is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Notifications

If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No reminder content is sent to us or any server.

5. Children

FishVitals does not knowingly collect any data and is suitable for all ages (rated 4+).

6. Your rights

Because all data lives only on your device, you are in full control. You can edit or delete any entry, or remove all data by deleting the app.
